Celebrity Edge<\/a> is a luxury cruise ship that offers a unique and unforgettable experience as it sails locations all over the world. Our Celebrity Cruise sailed from Miami, Florida to the most beautiful and exotic islands in the Caribbean. This 10 day Ultimate South Caribbean cruise made stops in St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis.<\/p>\n

One of the most exciting features of the Celebrity Edge is the Edge Staterooms, which have infinite verandas that allow guests to bring the outside in by seamlessly blending their stateroom with the sea. Our favorite time of the day was relaxing in our room, with the windows down , watching the sun set from our veranda. There\u2019s nothing better than taking some extra moments alone. <\/p>\n

One of the most notable features of Celebrity Edge is its unique design, which includes the Magic Carpet. The Magic Carpet is a unique platform that moves up and down the ship\u2019s side, offering different experiences such as a private dining area, a live music venue, and an exclusive lounge for suite guests.<\/p>\n

The ship offers a variety of activities for guests to enjoy while on board, including a rooftop garden to watch movies, a spa, fitness center, and a inside and outside pool deck with multiple pools and hot tubs. The Edge also has a variety of entertainment options, including a theater, a casino, and different themed bars and lounges. One of our personal favorite entertainment was the Silent Disco nights. It was a blast listening to whatever music, dancing the night away and seeing all the others silently doing the same. Even if you feel silly, everyone else was doing it too!<\/p>\n

When it comes to dining, the Celebrity Edge offering is slightly different than other typical cruises. The main dining rooms each bring their own twist based on their international cuisine. The Cosmopolitan Restaurant, serves American cuisine, while the Normandie Restaurant offers French fine dining. The Tuscan Restaurant offers traditional Italian cuisine, and the Cyprus Restaurant offers Mediterranean foods. If you don\u2019t prefer the cuisine of one of these restaurants, no problem! Every restaurant has a portion of the menu that is shared among all dining so you can find the same menu in each restaurant. <\/p>\n

The ship has specialty dining options too. The Rooftop Grill, which offers a unique al fresco dining experience, and the Raw on 5, which serves sushi and raw seafood. We, personally loved the Raw on 5 restaurant. The seafood was diverse, fresh and delicious!<\/p>\n

While I mentioned the Celebrity Edge veranda rooms, it also offers other accommodations for guests, including staterooms, suites, and Edge Villas, which are the ship\u2019s most luxurious accommodations. These villas feature private outdoor spaces, plunge pools, and an exclusive access to the ship\u2019s rooftop garden. Imagine cruising in the Edge Villas with so much space you never need to leave your room!<\/p>\n

Port of Call<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had so many highlights of the 10 Night Ultimate Southern cruise. Our first stop was St. Maarten, where you can take an ATV tour of the island and visit some of the best beaches, including Maho Beach, known for its close proximity to the airport where you can watch planes coming in. The tour will take you through the island\u2019s lush tropical landscape, giving you a chance to see the local wildlife and explore the beautiful beaches.<\/p>\n

Next, you will visit Barbados, where you can experience the island\u2019s natural beauty by going on a catamaran tour. This tour includes snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters to see sea turtles and visiting a beach. The catamaran tour will also give you an opportunity to see the island\u2019s coastline and take in the stunning views.<\/p>\n

Antigua is another must-see destination on this cruise. This island is known for its beautiful beaches and clear blue waters. The tour will take you to some of the best beaches, where you can relax and soak up the sun. You can also go for a swim or snorkel and explore the coral reefs. <\/p>\n

St. Lucia is another stop on the cruise that offers an array of activities for the nature lovers. One of the most popular activities is the hike up the Pitons. The Pitons are two volcanic peaks that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This hike offers breathtaking views of the island and the Caribbean Sea.<\/p>\n

Finally, the cruise will take you to St. Kitts & Nevis, where you can take a sail on a catamaran to a local beach on Nevis. This tour includes lunch and drinks, making it a perfect way to relax and enjoy the island\u2019s beauty. The catamaran tour will also give you an opportunity to see the island\u2019s coastline while sailing back before sunset.<\/p>\n

Cruising on Celebrity Cruise\u2019s The Edge is an unforgettable experience. Onboard, you\u2019ll experience luxurious amenities and delicious foods, and the destinations offer a wide range of activities that will exceed any cruisers expectations. I left the cruise feeling revitalized and so happy to have experienced such a wonderful week of activities. <\/p>\n
